China Telecommunications Museum collects telecom cultural relicsfrom public, scope of collection are as follows:

1.Physical and historical data about early communication activities;

2.Telecom cultural relics and historical materials of the modern times;

3.Telecom cultural relics and historical materials of the revolutionary war period;

4.Various objects about the history of communications development and modern communications achievement, such as various telegraphs, telexes, fax machines, telephones, switching equipments, carrier communications equipments, satellite communications equipments, mobile communications equipments, optical communications equipments, network communications equipments;

5.Witness for important events in communication field and international communications activities;

6.Document literature and audio-visual products of great significance in the China’s telecommunications history;

7.Communications service cards, such as magcard, IC card, issued by various communications departments；FDC, covers, postcards issued by various communications departments.
